How to Help

These are the primary ways you can support the Poverello House of Tucson. We also encourage you to come and visit to see exactly what we do. 221 E. Lee St. Tucson, AZ 85705 (Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00am to 2:00pm)

We are so grateful for our volunteers! With their support, Poverello House can fulfil its mission and meet the needs of its guests.

From grocery shopping, to serving meals, to picking up donations around town, we have many volunteer opportunities that are flexible and provide the opportunity to directly help the homeless men in the Tucson community.

Monetary Donations

Our operating costs are roughly $8,000/month. All donations go directly towards rent, utilities, supplies and food. You can make a one time donation or set up a monthly contribution. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!

You can also mail a check payable to “Poverello House of Tucson” to:
Poverello House of Tucson
P. O. Box 50782
Tucson, AZ 85703.

Food Donations

If you would like to bring something for the men to enjoy, healthy protein snacks are always welcome. We recommend store bought, individually wrapped items that are easily portable in a backpack.

Some suggestions: chicken/tuna (pull tab lids or single pouches), meat jerky, protein bars, trail mix, peanut butter squeeze packs, individual hummus/pita chip packs, vienna sausages, fresh fruit cups and cheese sticks.
